Duties

Performs routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical bowling equipment, components and assemblies. Assists the Bowling Equipment Repairer in making repairs, adjusting equipment and related duties. Cleans and maintains the bowling facility by replacing light bulbs; making minor repairs to vacuum cleaners, buffers, etc. Recognize and report malfunctions. Performs routine duties without directions.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service, see www.sss.gov.
  • Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
  • Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds, moves large items weighing up to 100 pounds, and works in awkward positions.
  • Work is indoors and work area is usually noisy.
  • May be required to wear protective clothing.

Qualifications

1. Be able to lift and carry large items weighing up to 100 pounds. 2. Possess work experience or training in the use of electrical test equipment and wiring diagrams. 3. Be physically able to work for extended periods of time in cramped and awkward positions. Highly Preferred: 1. Experience with both AMF (models 70/90) and Brunswick GSX? 2. Experience with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on AMF and Brunswick lane machines?
