Note: Dallas, TX is the preferred duty location but remote eligibility for alternate duty location may be negotiated at time of selection.
Duties
Serve as district liaison to address and facilitate strategic resolution of significant issues and set conditions for mission success.
Coordinate responses to Congressional inquiries with the vertical team, to include responses to WRDA requests from congressional staffs on the House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittees.
Provide direction to the integrated District Support Team and help foster relationships among the Districts, Major Subordinate Command staff, and Headquarters USACE Regional Integration Team.
Serve as regional proponent and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Project Delivery Business Process (PDBP) and supporting automated information systems (AISs).
Provide guidance and coordination of Agreements (FCSA, DA, PPA, MOU, MOA, etc.), Decision Documents, MFRs, Review Plans, etc.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification within 12 months of appointment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Identifying program and project funding priorities for the development and defense of the Civil Works budget; AND 2) Utilizing project management processes and tools to manage complex projects; AND 3) Facilitating resolution of project and program issues to ensure mission success. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
