You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC) of NAVAVNWARDEVCEN.

GS-11: $72,734 - $94,551
GS-09: $60,115 - $78,149
Duties
You will be responsible for the direct training of, and oversight of, all fleet naval aviation advanced training
You will oversee any work in any of the phases or systems of financial administration concerning the purchase card program.
You will plan, organize and monitors the work of all Purchasing Card Technicians.
You will implement changes in organization of work or assignment of functions to improve workflow and services rendered as well as to increase productivity and decrease the need for overtime.
You will serve as the Agency Program Coordinator (APC), assigning and overseeing the Approving Officials and Government Commercial Purchase Card Holders and ensuring compliance with the Government Commercial Purchase Card Program.
You will perform complete procurement transactions for a wide range of technical items and services.
You will resolve unique situations through research and outside expertise.
You will ensure that NAWDC supply and service requirements are met in the most expeditious, cost-effective manner without jeopardizing the command’s mission or violating any regulations.
You will be in contact with command personnel, military, and DOD civilians, requiring supplies and services.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You may be required to work overtime.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current COR level 1 certification within one year of start date.
- You will be required to achieve the Financial Management Level 2 certification within two years of
start date.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
FOR THE GS-11:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating supply management functions by conducting studies of supply and inventory operations and financial data to make recommendations for program improvement and ensure proper purchase and stock of supplies for an organization.
FOR THE GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector independently planning, coordinating, and implementing supply tracking and accountability to ensure material readiness and availability within an assigned program.

master's or equivalent graduate degree

2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
