THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION
This National Guard position is for a TRAINING TECHNICIAN TITLE 32 PERMANENT, Position Description Number D2125000 and is part of the NH 157th Mission Support Group, National Guard.

Duties
The primary purpose of this position ist o serve as the Force Development Manager and office of primary responsibility (OPR) for unit training programs managed in support of the Wing and its geographically separated units (GSUs). The office provides technical guidance and assistance to commanders, managers, and supervisors at all levels regarding education and training programs insupport of federal, state and local missions, ensuring programs are in place to manage upgrade, qualification, in-garrison, expeditionary training and other military training functions as well as to administer post high school technical education and collegeprograms.

Qualifications
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Military Grades: Enlisted E7 - E8
Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective date of placement into the technician position.

Compatible Military Assignments: 3F2X1 (Must qualify as 3F271 within 24 months)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have demonstrated ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulations, and procedures that otherwise validate the ability to perform or learn to perform the duties of the position.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS 11- Must have 12 months of specialized experience equivalent the next lower grade (GS-09). Knowledge of Army or Air Force education and training programs regarding their principles and procedures. Experience in performing interviews and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction methods; task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and education and training systems and products; effective writing skills; editing practices; instructional media application, training reporting, program and curriculum validation, and implementation procedures. Experience in scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies. Experience in the capabilities of communicative interpersonal skill applications and distance learning concepts. Experience as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events.
Education
Air National Guard Enlisted Technicians - High school or general equivalent degree is mandatory. An under-graduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum. An academic degree with courses in education, grammar and composition, speech, psychology, guidance, and sociology; or, social and behavioral sciences defines a best qualified candidate.
