Duties
As a Supervisory General Supply Specialist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Responsible for audit readiness end-to-end processes within a process management functions.
Coaching team in selection and application of appropriate problem solving methods and techniques; providing advice on work methods, practices and procedures; assisting team and/or individual members in identifying parameters for viable solutions.
Monitor and reporting on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality have been met.
Serve as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.
Representing the team in dealings with the supervisor; securing needed information or decisions from the supervisor on major work problems and issues that arise.
Communicate team consensus and recommendations to the supervisor on actions affecting team and individual awards, rewards and recognition.
Inform, report, resolve informal complaints of performance management issues/problems and recommending/requesting related actions.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory General Supply Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Ensuring current and evolving Audit Readiness processes such as system memorandum, functional system specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, and process-related training) are in compliance with applicable laws/policies/regulations, well documented and regularly maintained.
Managing supply operations and related regulations as well as of supply management policies in order to coordinate supply discrepancy problems.
Supervising other employees to accomplish a wide range of complex assignments to include coordinating, coaching, facilitating, consensus-building and planning techniques. Coaching and facilitating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.
Resolving discrepancies of inventory management programs to ensure applicable laws/policies/regulations are followed.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
