About the Position: Incumbent will .serve as Public Works management and program analyst for engineering information system development and interoperability. Directs and advises the organization in the utilization and adaptation of automation equipment and communication mechanisms in support of the Public Works (PW) mission
Duties
Performs project scoping, development, implementation of Engineering systems, and IT projects.
Analyzes current Public Works activities and lead efforts either to improve methods of operation or to effect termination.
Serves as program manager for Directorate’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Identify the organizational needs for centralized data relating to real property assets, condition of assets, asset/facility work scheduled, and work accomplished.
Holds and executes the duties of directorate Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) for Information Assurance Management (IAM).
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes assisting in the implementation of communication systems, programs, and software along with the project development of Engineering systems or IT projects. recommending equipment, software, and data. Providing technical assistance for hardware/software users within the organization.
