You will serve as a PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION SPECIALIST in the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Department of Medicine of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.

Duties

You will serve as the on-site coordinator and special assistant to the director for the Third-Year Clerkship program. You will resolve complex problems that impede the implementation and accomplishment of mission goals and objectives by evaluating, planning and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. You will provide guidance on policy and procedures to the staff and students. You will analyze the overall impact of various program administrative decisions and plans on the program budget and make recommendations that enhance program operations. You will analyze program information, such as statistical data, through searches of computerized databases and assessment of information gained through direct observations/discussions.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying analytical and evaluative techniques to assess education program inefficiencies by identifying program operation processes and procedural issues and recommending options for improvement. Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree

Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
