This position is for a Range Operations Specialist (TEMP) (TITLE 32), PD D1134000 and is part of the UTC located at Camp Williams UT, with the Utah Army National Guard. Minimum Requirements: Experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Practical knowledge of a wide range of established ARNG range management principles and concepts involving range operations, live fire training activities, range safety, range maintenance, and range control and communications. Knowledge of range activities, functions, and mission to provide support and services to training activities. Knowledge of current military doctrine as related to the training center and range operations to analyze problems and recommend solutions to eliminate problems. Working knowledge of regulations, pamphlets, and instructions regarding policies and procedures for firing and handling ammunition. Knowledge of basic automation programs and systems to facilitate documentation and reporting.
