About the Position: This position is located with the HQDA, Deputy Chief of Staff Management Support Office located in PENTAGON/ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA.

Duties

Utilize Knowledge of management, analysis, preparation, and maintenance Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and the Mobilization Table of Distribution and Allowances (MOBTDA), manpower and force management requirements. Serve as a Subject matter expert for military personnel actions, such as military manpower and personnel actions for officers and enlisted soldiers. Identify, analyze and evaluate assigned program management standards to determine courses of action and implements actions involved in grading structures, personnel systems, and resource allocations to determine organizational manning levels. Analyze funding requirements and prepares a variety of reports by retrieving and compiling data, conducting preliminary. Communicate verbally and in writing.

• TDY up to 5% may be required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includesassisting with analyzing manning documents, such as: Table of Distribution (TDA), to make sure structured in accordance with organizational concepts; gathering of data for monthly reports on actual and authorized strength; assisting with preparing funding reports by compiling data; and assisting with and reviewing recommendations on organizational manning levels to assist in presenting to managers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
