About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Assist the Army Training Requirement and Resources systems for organization.
Ensure accuracy of data entered in to automated systems for training requirements.
Coordinates with other agency for students training schedules.
Maintains installation policy for submitting requests for class graduation acceleration and changes to class schedules.
Develops and recommends policies and methods to improve scheduling procedures, contributing to the preparation of memorandums to directorates and brigades.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 10 percent of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

GG-07 level: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by performing data entry using automative system for the command training records; ability to help adjust training schedules required for the organization; written and oral communication with supervisor as needed.
GG-08 level: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by assisting in training schedule for the command; using software systems to track training records and maintain data base on trainings for the organization; updating command on training records to support changes in training requirements.
GG-09 level: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by utilizing various software products and/or Department of Army (DA) systems, prepares statistical data, charts, and graphs containing inputs and training loads on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis for the command; providing technical guidance and instruction on use and operation of Digital Training Management System (DTMS), Training Management Scheduling System (TMSS), and Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) for the command; assisting with training schedules, student enrollment/placement, records keeping, and resolving conflict in training for the organization using TMSS and DTMS/ automated systems; experience with class scheduling systems, office automation using Microsoft office, Calendars, slideshows and excel spreadsheet for command needs; administering all training requirements, coordinating, and planning for multiple personnel.
