Duties
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and fabrication of various types of electronic and related equipment, including but not limited to communication equipment, electronic controllers and regulators; water elevation equipment; electric meters; protective and control relays including overcurrent, overvoltage, distance, differential, and phase comparison.
- Performs regular preventive maintenance, diagnoses equipment or system troubles and make repairs and/or adjustments to return equipment or systems to normal operation.
- Interprets and work from electrical drawings and electronic circuit diagrams to perform field tests and work on electrical equipment.
- Conducts market research, obtains quotes and suitable supplies and replacement parts for defective equipment.
- Ensures work being performed follows established safe clearance procedures and safety and health standards.
