Duties
Provide direct administrative, procedural, and informational resource assistance and support by organizing, collecting, analyzing, and presenting information related to the current and future program/project workload.
Respond to inquiries concerning projects and activities. Identify discrete steps of transaction processes or routine business practices that might be opportunities for applying standard quality improvement techniques.
Support efforts to evaluate and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of organizations and programs.
Process and track incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other written communications.
Conduct library and computer searches of program-related information.
Independently maintain supervisor's appointment calendars and work schedules.
Prepare correspondence, reports, graphs/charts, forms, and other office support materials. Write and/or edit correspondence, and review correspondence for accuracy and completeness.
Develop routine plans or schedules using standard references and existing information. Based on defined objectives, determines specific steps, input required, and/or milestones.
Requirements

Qualifications
To qualify for a Program Support Clerk, GS-0303 position at the GS-05 level, you must have:
Completed four (4) years of education above high school; OR
One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: researching information to prepare routine administrative reports and answer inquiries; coordinating appointments and meetings for supervisors and staff; and using software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, charts, and forms; OR
A combination of post high school education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
To qualify for a Program Support Assistant position at the GS-06 level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: assisting with the coordination of program workflow and the coordination of various duties assigned to organization staff; receiving and reviewing incoming correspondence and determining which staff member should handle the action; scheduling various meetings and following up on assigned actions; and preparing correspondence, reports, graphs/charts, forms, and other office support materials using office automation equipment and appropriate software.
To qualify for a Program Support Assistant position at the GS-07 level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: organizing, collecting, and presenting information related to the current and future program/project workload; developing routine plans or schedules using standard references and existing information; composing routine correspondence in own or supervisor's name; providing quality assurance for all incoming and outgoing correspondence; and using software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, charts, and forms.
