The purpose of this position is to conduct quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of specified commissary stocking, order-writing, custodial ,receiving, holding and/or other contracted services performed in a commissary.

Duties
Conduct quality assurance inspections and contractor surveillance.
Provide comments and recommendations for additions, deletions, or changes to contractor services to ensure compliance with DeCA directives.
Approve or reject contractor's work schedule and checks work for quality and timeliness.
Maintain the store's space allocations program by such duties as designating to the contractor proper item shelf locations when shelf tags are missing or otherwise not identifiable.
Advise commissary or contracted order writers.
Act as the commissary manager's representative during the night time hours to ensure government property is secure.

Qualifications
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1101 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one (1) year of experience conducting job analysis, posting vacancies in an automated system, advising management on a variety of recruitment authorities and techniques, evaluating applicants for eligibility and qualifications, creating and issuing referral certificates, making job offers and onboarding personnel, and preparing and auditing personnel actions for accuracy and regulatory compliance (specialized experience) equivalent to at least GS-05. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.
Example of Specialized Experience:
Conducting quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of specified commissary or retail grocery contracted services.
Applying retail grocery store administration policies and procedures as they relate to established contracts.
Monitoring vendors and/or contractors in a retail setting to ensure proper inventory.
