This position is located at the Interior Design Section, Construction Section, Facility Management Services at VACHS San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Fabricate signs to include the full range of signage interior and exterior.
Perform all the graphic techniques needed to provide the Medical Center with exterior and exterior signage.
Develop three-dimensional drawing, floor plants, templates, and sketches.
Devises signs and displays with good eye appeal.
Adapts lettering to the spacing, style or effect.
Clarifies or exchanges information regarding the status of the fabrication project.
Work Schedule: Full-Time; Monday through Friday; 7:00am to 3:30pm

Qualifications
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORK CONDITIONS: The Sign Painter works from ladders/scaffolds to perform assigned tasks. They commonly move or lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and generally, must be able to carry the necessary tools, instruments and materials to each work site without assistance. Concentration is required for long periods of time laying out and lettering signs. A high degree of alertness and concentration with hand-eye coordination is required. Most work is performed indoors in a lighted, heated and air continued office/shop, however; some outdoor work may be required.
