As a Realty Services Specialist, you will provide technical and administrative support to realty specialists at various grade levels.
Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Leasing Division, in Fort Worth, TX.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Process and input programmatic and management information into various PBS databases that support lease acquisitions and administration for obligation and payments of rent. Review and analyze related reportsand documents to determine that data is accurately maintained.
Serve as the Branch point of contact for monitoring lease expirations, holdovers and renewal options, coordinating with realty specialists to ensure appropriate action is taken within established timeframes to protectthe Government's interests under the lease contract.
Assist higher grade realty specialists in researching and analyzing technical data in determining the appropriate resolution of customer agency issues related to rent billing, reimbursable work problems, spaceoccupancy, etc.
Prepare correspondence in response to inquiries or requests for additional information regarding programs or procedures.
Tracks Occupancy Agreements and obtains agency concurrence and signature.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
- Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
- Register with the Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959

To qualify for the GS-09 you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level or higher in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience providing real estate related advice and assistance to employees and managers, researching and interpreting commercial leases, processing and administering lease changes, and performing other lease administration related activities.
OR
Possess a master's or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD.
OR
Have a combination of qualifying graduate education and specialized experience that when combined together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
