You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the 100TO.12 Execution and Shipyard Assessment Branch in the 100TO.1 Strategic Transformation Division in the Transformation Office (Code 100TO), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Duties
You will develop and execute comprehensive schedules, resourcing plans, funding, coordination, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and deliver transformation initiatives that are in alignment with Shipyard strategic objectives.
You will conduct thorough analysis of current processes, systems, data metrics, and capabilities to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
You will manage transformation project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential impacts of change and develop mitigation strategies to address resistance and drive acceptance.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, as assigned, providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
You will support the creation and delivery of training programs, workshops, and communication materials to facilitate organizational change and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
You will hold discussions and meetings with key project members as necessary to obtain pertinent details of projects assigned.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying principles, theories, and methodologies of program analysis.
Experience effectively piloting and implementing successful change management program strategy to a transformation initiative.
Knowledge of production, operations, or support maintenance and business processes and detailed knowledge of the shipyard structure and the administrative and organizational requirements of all phases of the manufacturing and repair of naval ships and components.
Experience applying, a comprehensive range of principles, theories, concepts, and practices applicable to the various trades and laboring occupations performed by the Production Resources, Operations or other Support Departments.
Experience communicating, both oral and written, to inform, advise, persuade, and defend controversial actions/policy decisions in meetings and conferences with high-level government and industry partners.
