You will serve as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst subject-matter expert at the Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (Marines) Cyberspace Operations Integrated Planning Element, conducting advanced complex digital network intelligence analysis in support of USMC, Joint, and National intelligence and cyberspace requirements.
Duties
You will serve as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst subject-matter expert at the Joint Force Headquarters -Cyber (Marines) Cyberspace Operations Integrated Planning Element.
You will conduct advanced complex digital network intelligence analysis in support of USMC, Joint, and National intelligence and cyberspace requirements.
You will use a wide variety of collection methods/systems and available automated data processing capabilities to assure a complete and thorough analysis of all pertinent data.
You will identify significant intelligence gaps, initiates requests to guide tasking and assists in collection management activities.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires periodic polygraph examinations.
- This position may require a 2-year probationary period.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing signals intelligence (SIGINT), open-source research, and other data from digital networks to build target knowledge and produce technical reports; 2) Identifying significant intelligence gaps and assisting in collection management activities; 3) Serving as a command/organizational representative at conferences, briefings, exercises, and planning evolutions; using advanced verbal communication techniques to produce finished products and presenting briefings; and, 4) Using a wide variety of collection methods/systems and available automated data processing capabilities to assure a complete and thorough analysis of all pertinent data.
