About the Position: This position is located in Directorate of Strategic Management, at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Duties
Coordinate business development events in support of the depot business plans.
Arrange transportation for attendees and materials to and from event locations.
Participate in depot business events for marketing advice and assistance.
Present depot's marketing and strategic plans for education and sales information.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Must be willing to travel (TDY) up to 30% of the time.
- Must obtain and maintain Contracting Officer Representative (COR) certification within 6 months of employment.
- Must attend Government Purchase Card (GPC) training.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the GS-07: Coordinating business development events in support of a company's business plans; Providing administrative support such as marketing plans, strategic plans, and travel procedures; AND Preparing performance data relating to business development plans.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
