You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Missile Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will plan and conduct audits and evaluations to determine effectiveness of the Receipt, Segregation, Storage and Issue and Ordnance Information Systems Retail and Wholesale processes through interviews, observations, data research and analysis.
You will identify deficiencies in systems, procedures, and resources, which could impede timely and efficient task accomplishment.
You will prepare evaluation reports recommending improvements or actions to resolve deficiencies and provides assistance in implementing recommendations.
You will provide for development and application of OIS-R/W.
You will develop metrics to measure OIS-R transactions.
You will identify and recommend automated interface requirements with other ordnance systems, transportation, and maintenance data collection systems.
You will plan and conduct process analysis identifying problem areas and recommend approaches or procedures to leadership at the headquarters as well as subordinate activities.
You will conduct special studies and investigations in any area of management and operations relating to ordnance inventory and retail management.
You will submit reports, updates to, and maintains liaison with other organizations and serves as the focal point for expendable ordnance logistics management systems, procedures, and operations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Acting as a subject matter expert for ordnance inventory management to conduct audits, develop metrics, recommend system improvements, and manage automated information technologies in order to ensure effective and efficient inventory processes.
