This position is within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC) and is organizationally aligned to the Integrated Informatics and Analysis (IIA) Executive Directorate with assigned supervision under the Deputy Executive Director of Integrated Informatics and Analytics (IIA), The position designs, develops, conducts, and supervises Veteran Data related analytical studies of IVC programs.
Duties
Major duties include, but are not limited to the following below:
Supports overall administrative management of the wider employing organization's administrative contract support operations.
Arranges for and facilitates annual goal-setting sessions with directorate leaders and subordinates to coordinate, develop, and track performance and directorate-level goals and operating plans.
Evaluates and monitors operational and administrative activities and makes substantive recommendations for improvements.
Maintain critical Veteran Satisfaction data reporting and apply analytic tools for operational decision making
Develops procedures to ensure that quality provisions are planned, developed, and implemented to identify, prevent, and correct unsatisfactory conditions and elements adversely affecting regulatory compliance and responsiveness of program support services.
Analyzes trends and reports results to executive management.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (MST)

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/24/2024.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-14 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
GS-14 Grade Level:
You may qualify based on your specialized experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-13 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
1.) Enforces data management standards, processes, and governance principles to continuously improve the value to stakeholders.
2.) Conducts periodic management studies and quality assurance reviews to ensure that the work products from IIA departments.
3.) Supports IIA in strategic planning by collaborating with management from Oversight Data, Operations Data and Clinical Informatics.
4.) Supervisory authorities and responsibilities involving technical expertise, administrative and personnel management functions.
5.) Provides expertise on administrative contract support policies and requirements which include goals, objectives and long-range plans.

Physical Requirements: primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required.
Work Environment: The work is normally performed in an office environment that is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Normal safety precautions are required. Occasional travel is required.
