About the Position: This position is located at Letterkenny Munitions Center in the Maintenance Division.
Position will be filled at the WG-10 level. Incumbent is eligible for non-competitive promotion to the full performance level (WG-12) pending all qualification requirements.
Duties
Assists higher-grade employees with assembly, test, modification, repair, and disassembly of componernts of MLRS Family of Munitions (MFOM).
Recans missile and components (explosive, electrical, and electronic), assuring all are properly grounded.
Paint and spot paint missiles, components and containers.
Requirements

Screen Out Element: Ability to do the work of an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic without more than normal supervision which includes; assisting in decaning, disassembly, repair, and testing solid rocket motors and payload warhead section of all variants associated with MLRS Family of Munitions (MFOM) i.e. Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS), Guided Multiple Launch Rockets System (GMLRS), and Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
