You will serve as a Graphic Arts Mechanic in the 62425 Graphic Arts, Avionics Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will design layouts using computer graphic and work from layout samples.
You will read and interpret blueprints, specification and other manufacturing directives.
You will manufacture a variety of vinyl film decals including cast vinyl, calendar vinyl, gloss vinyl, laminated, large and small finished decals
You will expose negative or positive film image to the metal surface by direct contact printing, using vender equipment and specified procedures.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision such as: 1) Designing and making layouts using computer graphics; 2) Determining size, style of lettering, and color requirements from examination of blueprints, samples or sketches; 3) Using software programs such as Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Versa Works to make graphics; 4) Manufacturing a variety of vinyl film decals including cast vinyl, calendar vinyl, gloss vinyl, laminated, large and small finish decals; 5) Creating layouts for wiring diagrams, schematics, charts and identification plates; and 6) Using and maintaining large format non thermal and thermal lamination machines.
