You will serve as a COMMUNITY PLANNING TECHNICIAN in the Public Works Division of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.

Duties

You will implement the Shore Facilities Planning System (SFPS). You will assist in preparation of annual construction programs for Congressional and Headquarters funded projects. You will assist in program management by developing scopes of work, updating, consolidating, and coordinating project documentation. You will provide day to day guidance on on a variety of planning topics for supervisor review, and assist MCAS Miramar units and tenants in facility planning matters.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing facilities requirements and associated construction plans for review and approval by appropriate authorities. Education

In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
  • two years of graduate education or a master's degree that is directly related to the work of the position may substitute for the one year of specialized experience to meet minimum qualifications or
  • I have a combination of experience and graduate level education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
