This position is with the St. Paul District, Engineering and Construction Division (E&C). The St. Paul District E&C designs water resource projects to benefit the people of Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa, and the nation. These projects support inland navigation, flood risk management, and environmental restoration. E&C also provides emergency response to disasters.

Duties

Serve as an administrative assistant to the supervisor by performing administrative and/or clerical duties. Serve as an administrative assistant to the supervisor by performing administrative and/or clerical duties. Prepare narrative and/or statistical data. Serve as a program training coordinator. Assist employees with registration of training courses and/or approvals. Facilitate all training activities for a program to include virtual or in-person trainings. Act as administrator of a training website and/or assign courses as necessary. Act as administrator of a training website and/or assign courses as necessary. Serves as a Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder for the division, ensuring all required documentation is captured. Serves as the intern liaison for the division for all interns regardless of funding type.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: A full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
