Duties

The selectee will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Office of Investigations. Typical work assignments include: Managing and directing administrative and support services of the resident office including financial management, facilities management, human resources management and/or procurement. Reviewing and coordinating the preparation of investigative and administrative reports. Providing guidance on the interpretation and application of administrative regulations and policies. Utilizing criminal databases to conduct preliminary searches and/or enter data.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as noted below Minimum Qualifications: You qualify for the GS-11 level (starting salary $72,553.00) if you possess one of the following: GS-11: Applicant must possess one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-09 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties: Assisting in planning and coordination of administrative and support services management activities in the areas of financial management, facilities management, human resources management, and/or procurement; Tracking investigative and/or administrative actions to create reports for program operations; and Reviewing electronic and traditional files, databases and/or evidence (e.g., financial, personnel, criminal, classified/sensitive materials, etc.) to assist specialists with criminal investigations. NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. OR Successfully completed three (3) full year of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.; or successfully completed a Ph.D.; or LL.M., if related, at an accredited college or university in a field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. ORPossess less than one year of experience as described in A and less than 3 years of graduate level education as described in B. However, I have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that when combined, equals at least 100% of the total requirement. Note: Only graduate education in excess of the master's level [generally 36 semester hours] may be used in this calculation.
