You will serve as a Management Analyst in the FM&S Product Line, Customer Service Branch of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will evaluate data from various sources (e.g., lessons learned programs, Quality Performance System, audit programs) to identify actions to improve production processes. You will operate software systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Project, SharePoint) to analyze data from multiple projects. You will develop statistical spreadsheets to illustrate whether performance goals or objectives are being met. You will analyze customer needs, specifications, or workload data to evaluate effectiveness in achieving objectives.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Essential personnel and required to report for duty or held in a duty status to provide support before, during and/or after special emergency situations, but not limited to, destructive weather, disasters or periods of an increased security threat.
  • In the unlikely event of a Base closure, the incumbent may be required to travel in support of a temporary CSC to be located in another regional Base.
  • This position is part of the Customer Call Center and will be required to work different shifts on a rotating basis, including overnights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

For GS-09: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Providing management, tracking, and reporting of work order data; 2) Performing analysis of service call information to assist with variations in workload and call volume and; 3) Preparing reports using automated computer programs. (NOTE: This experience must be fully supported in your resume.) Education

For GS-09 level the following education may be substituted for experience:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

OR

2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree

OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related

OR

Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
