You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Digital Transformation Division (100TO.4), Transformation Office (100TO) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Duties
You will coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, and deliverables, and ensure clear communication and understanding of each project requirements.
You will support the creation and delivery of training programs, workshops, and communication materials to facilitate organizational change and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
You will coordinate with external consultants, vendors, and contractors as necessary, ensuring adherence to requirements and timelines.
You will organize discussions and meetings with key project members as necessary to obtain pertinent details of projects assigned.
You will oversee and manage the successful execution of digital transformation projects assigned.
You will leverage, new process development, innovation, technology advancements optimizing digital solutions, and change management to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and employee engagement.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to lift and/or carry light items.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience project management planning, execution, and implementation of assigned projects;
Experience providing technical expertise to field new processes, technologies, digital tools, and improvements that increase operational capabilities;
Experience in managing policy and process development/adoption to achieve the shipyard's goals and objectives;
Experience in operational efficiency and delivery of services;
Experience coordinating and integrating several administrative and technical critical projects and programs.
