About the Position: The Incumbent will serve as a senior supply technician for the United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) Miami Battalion. This position will be in the Administrative-Logistics Division of the organization. The main purpose of this position is to administer BN supply operations.

Duties

Manages hand receipts to verify accountability of all expendable and non-expendable property. Analyzes short and long-range program requirements to ensure adequate plans are in place for supply operations Provides direct support to all stakeholders involved in the supply management division of the Battalion (BN). Purchases supplies for multiple staffing elements within organization. Creates documents to identify the availability of supply items. Determines appropriate disposal methods of unserviceable equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 15% of the time.
