About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance.

Duties

Perform a variety of technical duties in estimating work assigned. Estimate work for maintenance, repair, modification, and installation of facilities related buildings, grounds and utilities. Repair water, steam, air, sewer, and natural gas line systems, and fire suppression piping. Prepare preliminary and detailed estimates for the construction, alteration, maintenance and repair of various building components. Estimate material, labor, and man-hour requirements, bonding, overhead direct labor and material costs for construction, maintenance, and repair projects

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Tier 2 background investigation.
  • Must hold journeyman/master plumbing license with an emphasis in commercial/industrial construction.
  • Employee must pass a pre-appointment physical examination and meet established requirements.
  • This position requires the wear and use of prescribed personnel protective equipment.
