About the Position: Serve as a Logistics Management Specialist with responsibility for planning, managing and providing the Army Command (ACOM) level support to US Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC) three subordinate Groups, Defense Forensic Science Center (DFSC), and Headquarters Detachment (HHD) in logistics programs including Supply Program Management, Property Accountability, Command Supply Discipline Program, and Wide Area of Work Flow (WAWF) Systems.
Duties
Perform as a Staff Advisor and provides authoritative advice and guidance on supply systems, requirements, and procedures to ensure units are in compliance with Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA) policy and Army regulations.
Administer, review, and analyze supply requirements; develop internal policy and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency; and provide quality mission support to enhance current operations and meet future requirements of the unit.
Facilitate and expedite procurement processing and tracks, controls, and maintains accountability of non-expendable equipment.
Develops an annual budget to manage the Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) program for the organization.
Assist subordinate units and users with accepting, inspecting, and paying for goods and services procured through contracting offices in support of mission requirements.
Conduct staff reviews and continuously evaluates logistics programs and operations from a management standpoint to assess effectiveness of supply program management for subordinate units.
Develops or updates the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) inspection checklists.

- This position is designated Non-Critical-Sensitive (NCS) requiring the employee be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance with a T3 background investigation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: administer and review supply requirements; develop policy and/or procedures for effectiveness and efficiency of supply management programs; manage property accountability of equipment; and create analytical reports to identify trends and improve logistics support for the command. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and minimum qualification requirements prescribed by OPM within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
