About the Position: The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position serves as Budget Analyst located at Rock Island Arsenal.

Duties

Reconcile rates and prices with current budgets submitted by command's point of contacts. Advise management on status of rates and prices. Interpret regulatory decisions so adjustments can be made to the development of rates and prices. Monitor the allocation of expenses to the applicable cost centers. Pull data from the budget schedules to be used for pricing goals.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 15% of the time.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent must comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
