As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.The incumbent will serve as Supervisory Information Technology Specialist for the FAA's Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Northeast OSF Sub Team, AJM-2491.

Duties

Applies a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the work directed in order to provide leadership and guidance to a diverse staff which carry out he responsibility of NAS Terminal Systems Support to operation facilities. This can influence development, testing, maintenance, field support, and deployment of hardware and/or software. This can include build planning/ scheduling, development of support documentation (e.g. System Support Directives, maintenance handbooks, IETMs, TI manuals, LOAs, MOAs), Safety Risk Management (SRM), and contracts/business management related to requirements associated with the Terminal Second Level Engineering (TSLE) mission. Incumbent will be responsible for the Terminal Second Level Engineering Operational Support Facility Operating Procedures JO 6000.202 and the MSAW and CA Standards and Guidelines JO 6190.20.

  • A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required
