About the Position: This is a Interdisciplinary GS-13 position with the USACE Tulsa District, Programs & Project Management Division Civil Works Branch. The position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Duties

Evaluate the status of projects for attainment of objectives. Execute the planning of projects to ensure completed within guidelines. Review processes for approval of major changes. Endorse all products produced in support of the project to include the authority and responsibility to challenge those products. Resolve highly technical project problems according to regulations. Review project progress for major changes. Make major plans and programming decisions such as long and short range courses of critical action for the projects.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Managing major water resources to include planning, development, design, construction and direction for projects. AND 2) Directing project delivery activities for preliminary plans, such as design, acquisition, construction, final inspection and close-out of completed work. OR 3) Evaluating water resources budget for the construction and closeout phase of projects. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget AdministrationOral CommunicationProject Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
