Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. For the 1712 series, experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction is required.To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include: Experience evaluating the content of new or modified training programs for impact upon the Agency’s program or resources. Experience in applying oral communication skills: presenting information and facilitating adult learning, focus groups, team building, and strategic planning sessions in an organized fashioned. Experience in training methods, techniques, and tools, to include educational developments in the field to design and develop training courses and materials, evaluate training programs and/or complete projects.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Communications and Media - Knowledge of the production, communication and dissemination of information and ideas to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media. Problem Solving (‡) - Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; generates and evaluates alternative solutions; makes recommendations. Compliance - Knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs or projects for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance.
