About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive physical security surveys, inspections, analysis and evaluations Prepare comprehensive written reports on survey and inspection findings and recommendations. Conduct physical security inspections and evaluates security engineering of construction proposals. Review and prioritize requirements, and programs funds for force protection (VTER) and ensures coordination with higher headquarters for the proper allocation and justification of these requirements

Requirements

• TDY travel may occasionally be required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Incumbent must complete the U.S. Army Physical Security course as required by AR 190-13, within 12 months after entrance on duty.
• Incumbent must complete the Contracting Officer Representative course within 12 months after entrance on duty.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• Incumbent must be able to work irregular hours when required.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.

Develop and implement crisis management planning and execution.
