About the Position: The purpose of this position is to provide technical and administrative assistance to the Division/Branch. Provide technical support to Division/Branch Chief by gathering data from various sources. Perform preliminary analyses, developing portions of Management Plans and developing and/or inputting data into the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's Information Systems. This is a developmental position. Management may hire at any grade level.

Duties

Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Division/Branch. Participate in various programmatic meetings and/or conferences. Establish and maintain a running suspense list of action items. Prepare a variety of project reports, including monthly project status reports, Project Executive Summaries, and other reports as required.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). GS-07 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) using automated system to make travel arrangements for staff personal; 2) prepare materials for meetings such as slides, graphs; and charts; and 3) using word processing and/or other types of software to prepare various reports and correspondence. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
