You will serve as a Program Analyst in the NAWCAD, Program Management Department, TACAIR Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will be designated as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) onsite Technical Point of Contact to monitor the awarded Contractor's compliance with the related PWS. You will participate in daily planning meetings with Operations and Maintenance and provide support to resolve any technical difficulties related to the contract. You will rapidly act to provide government coordination for technical and contractual issues related to mission support for immediate operator and maintenance needs. You will review daily and monthly CDRLs and trend key support metrics to support F-16 NSS HUD efforts, QASP monitoring and readiness needs. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-04; GS 11/12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
