You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the G-4 DIVISION of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.
Duties
You will support coordinates, synchronize, and strategically integrate logistics support options into innovative approaches to analyze, assess, and refine decisive concepts.
You will develop, plan, and analyze logistic capabilities.
You will directly support the development and implementation of operational logistics policies, logistics support requirements, and logistics feasibility of support analysis.
You will serve as an action officer, responsible for logistics operational and deliberate planning.
You will coordinate and support the staff in the development, revision, and review of logistics posture plan, logistics assessment products, and concepts of logistics support.
You will plan, organize, lead, and coordinate operational logistics efforts.
You will facilitate the provision and inclusion of logistic requirements in the planning and execution of exercises.
You will draft papers and correspondence and develop executive level briefs and presentations for senior leadership.
You will communicate information across the staff via presentation or written documentation to keep the staff appraised on deliberate planning efforts affecting the logistics support.
Requirements

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and SCI access. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating, developing, planning and analyzing military logistics capabilities for specified mission sets and operating areas; AND development and implementation of operational logistics policies, logistics support requirements, and logistics feasibility of support analysis for a command.
