Duties

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is part of the Missile Defense Agency, Missile Defense Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing program objectives, makes recommendations, planning milestone dates, tracking the processes and costs throughout the life-cycle of the program. As a Program Manager at the NH-0340-4 some of your typical work assignments may include: This position provides a senior program manager for C2BMC Enterprise Operations and Sustainment at the MDIOC, Schriever SFB, CO. to manage cost, schedule and performance for the C2BMC Operations and Sustainment Program. Manage all assigned Program resources and support activities essential to provide MDA C2BMC enterprise support to all Combatant Commanders. Initiate and oversee technically complex, varied missile defense management and program strategies as directed. Accomplish integrated C2 Program Support activities requiring frequent collaboration and joint integration with Flag Officers and SES managers internal and external to MDA. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction across all program operations to synchronize business operation and technical management.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the NH-04 broadband level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Managing cost, schedule, and performance of a complex weapon system. OR Communicating to senior leaders orally, in writing and with presentation material. OR Leading teams, recommending and making risk based decisions, providing program support, and collaborating across programs, organizations, and functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) including external stakeholders. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
