About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist for the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) located at Fort Eustis, VA.

Duties

Serve as Division Chief, participating fully in the administration and supervision of a staff comprised of professional, technical, and administrative personnel engaged in the execution of contracting and procurement programs. Serve as a technical expert in the field of Government-to-Government procurement operations as they apply to policy and compliance. Exercises authority as a Division Chief to assign work directly to subordinates, setting priorities and suspense dates.

• This position may have a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement up to 25% of the time.
• This critical acquisition position requires a written tenure agreement to remain in Federal service for at least three years upon entering this position.
