About the Position:
Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 13 months by a current permanent Army employee.
Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years.
Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted.
Duties
Advise senior leaders on quality assurance and internal control measures; and leads change with staff coordination and synchronization, including internal review activities.
Serve as the Alternate Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) and Alternate System Administrator (SA).
Serve as an alternate security manager for the organization responsible for all security requirements per applicable regulations.
Review physical space requirements and makes recommendations to maximize efficiency.

- Position may require approximately 25% temporary duty (TDY) travel.
- Position is deemed mission essential to ensure continued performance of mission essential functions of the organization and meets the definition of mission essential as prescribed in DODI 3020.42 and any other component policy.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience:
GS-11 One-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service which includes 1) Develop reports, papers and present information to internal and external personnel. 2) Analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative programs and develop written and oral recommendations for improvement. 3) Utilize all legal tools and applications such as Case Tracking System (ALCS/CTS) and Client Information System (CIS).
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Management or Social Work or Law.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
