This position is located in the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response (NSIR), Division of Security Operations (DSO), Intelligence Liaison and Threat Assessment Branch (ILTAB).
The supervisor is Brian Yip.
This position is Non Bargaining Unit.

Duties
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Branch Chief duties.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GG-14) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership for a diverse staff in accomplishing mission- critical programs with competing deadlines and conflicting resource demands. Experience in leading change through problem solving, conflict resolution, decisiveness, and risk-informed thinking.
2. Demonstrated ability to present intelligence analyses, counterintelligence issues, and threat assessment, both orally and in writing. Specific experience with tactful and effective communications with colleagues, subordinates, managers, and external parties (e.g., industry organizations, interagency partners).
3. Demonstrated knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices in the fields of intelligence, counterintelligence, and threat assessment, with specific knowledge of the considerations for nuclear power plants and other NRC-regulated facilities. Specific experience in performing threat assessments and providing intelligence analyses related to NRC-licensed facilities, materials, and activities.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: experience that demonstrates expert knowledge of intelligence, counterintelligence, and threat assessment, and demonstrates the ability to represent the agency’s interests as its liaison to the Intelligence Community.
