About the Position: This position is with IMCOM, USAG Fort Huachuca, Directorate of Human Resources, Continuing Education Systems Division located in Fort Huachuca.

Duties

Direct, develop and administer plans and procedures and implement regulations to provide a comprehensive continuing education system. Provide educational and training programs within the academic, technical, and vocational fields for basic to graduate level needs. Evaluate progress of education plans to determine overall objectives are being accomplished with reference to the current budget. Review education system programs to ensure they are operated in a proficient matter within resource limitations. Establish and maintain internal control and audit procedure to ensure personnel and funds are used in accordance with regulations. Implement regulations to provide training and career counseling programs based upon developed plans and procedures. Advertise educational opportunities utilizing various media Foster, develop and maintain educational partnerships with institutions of higher learning.

(3) Educational program administration: Study of the foundation and methods in organizing for adult and continuing education programs. (5) Teaching methods: Study of teaching strategies and learning styles of the adult learner. (6) Guidance and counseling: Study of the purposes and methods in counseling and guidance, the role of the counselor in various settings, approaches to counseling, and the uses of tests in the counseling situation.
