You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the FLEET READINESS CENTER MID ALANTIC A/C DEPARTMENT, MRO PRODUCTION DIVISION of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.

Duties

You will be responsible for reviewing and reaching all NAVAIRSYSCOM approved technical directives. You will be responsible for reviewing and reaching all NAVAIRSYSCOM approved technical directives. You will prepare industrial logistics planning and integration capability development for aircraft, component engine, and/or ground support equipment systems. You will gather and analyze data for special studies and projects assigned to a division.

Qualifications

GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Reviewing and researching all technical data sources such as technical publications and drawings, Local Engineering Specifications, Local Process Specifications; 2) Planning flow of work and establishing work controls; 3) Preparing reports, studies, and correspondence, and maintain files to support assigned programs; 4) Providing consistent, quality customer service to ensure successful project execution and ultimate customer satisfaction with delivered products and services; and 5) Performing process improvement and initiate corrective action analysis to provide ongoing evaluation of methods employed by production shops. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Preparing industrial logistics plans and integrating documents for the repair of new and prospective work load programs; Conducting industrial engineering studies to evaluate existing and proposed production and operational methods and sequence of work operations; Establishing time standards and manhour estimates for existing and proposed workload programs; Analyzing data for special studies and projects assigned to the division, as well as, establishing, managing and maintaining Master Work Plans (MWP); and Developing detailed work methods and processes to encompass the essential steps for the repair and/or overhaul of assigned aircraft, engines, or components.
