Duties

Receives Health benefits inquiries directly from beneficiaries. Coordinate with appropriate points of contact for information, assistance and delivery of needed medical service. Counsel beneficiary, clarify benefits, identify applicable options and provide advice of the most advantageous action. Analyzes, researches, and presents estimate of applicable deductibles and co-payments. Help determine best coverage under the TRICARE program based on beneficiary's medical needs. Verifies eligibility and identifies medical care for foreign members under the international reciprocal healthcare agreements.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period.
• This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4.
• This position requires the completion of an Occupational Health pre-employment Physical Examination.
• You may be expected to travel 5% of the time for this position
