About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Meade, Maryland.
Duties
Serves as the J843, subject matter expert responsible for supporting cross-domain financial management database engineering, operations, change management, security, and enterprise data analytics.
Using experience in Microsoft suite tools of Excel, Power BI, SQL, and SharePoint structures DoD Resource Data Warehouse (DRDW) resource datasets to support USCYBERCOM J8 PPBE processes.
Creates resource dashboards, data analytics reports and briefings to inform senior leadership.
Conducts diagnostic tests, evaluates performance metrics, updates database systems and ensures that financial resource data is backed-up and secured.
Participates on various committees, boards, working groups and other intra- and inter-agency resource forums.
Coordinates, recommends and provides professional data management advice, to support program and budget analysis, formulation, execution, and control; finance and accounting
Originates and oversees plans, policies, and procedures for development and maintenance of resource management in support of command financial management mission.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Telework is at the discretion of management and not guaranteed. Incumbent must stay within commuting distance (50 mile radius) of Fort Meade, MD.
- TDY up to 20% Business Travel may be required.
