This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Senate Office Buildings. The incumbent is a Forklift Operator Leader, responsible for leading employees performing fork lift and bailing machine operations as well as leading a team performing laboring and recycling duties. This position requires a license as a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operator for the Forklift in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.178.

Duties

The tour of duty for this position is Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

Requirements

• You must be a U.S. Citizen.
• You must be able to pass a drug test.
• Your resume and question responses must demonstrate job-related elements.
• Requires a valid driver’s license
• License as a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operator for the forklift.

Ability in leading employees performing fork lift and bailing machine operations as well as performing laboring and recycling duties.
