Duties

Maintain system compliance with the Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) audits. Support internal and external IT Audits for multiple systems including assessment of IT controls for systems and validation of corrective actions for deficiencies. Develop responses to auditors’ Notification of Findings and Recommendations (NFR) to include corrective actions, risk mitigations, and necessary Plans of Action and Milestones. Qualifications

This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense via delegated authority by the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Applicants MUST have related financial experience AND/OR a related financial degree (examples include: Finance, Accounting, Management, Actuarial Science, or related), in addition to meeting Office of Personnel Management (OPM) minimum qualification requirements. Substitution of combination of education and experience must still, in conjunction, minimally satisfy the DHA qualification requirement. Specialized experience is defined as: Performing financial or accounting systems analysis; identifying issues and recommending solutions or workarounds to support the daily operations of financial or accounting systems; providing testing and configuring management support; drafting software requirements documents, system acceptance testing conditions; and executing system acceptance plans.
