You will serve as a PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIAN) in the CENTRALIZED COORDINATION DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will plan, estimate, develop, and coordinate the NAVAIREWORKFAC’S workload for the rework, repair, manufacture and modification of aircraft electrical systems and related components.
You will evaluate work requests to determine requirements and provide cost estimates, as required, to perform specific functions.
You will be required to develop new plans or programs based on minimal technical information.
You will be responsible to screen new technical information issues for assigned programs, and often, based upon trade experience, generate feedback to cognizant groups concerning practicality of implementation.
You will coordinate proposed plans with production personnel to ensure compatibility with routine shop assignments.

1) Possess a comprehensive grasp of related systems, components and their relationship to the aircraft electrician trade and associated end products, and the ability to analyze technological developments in determining support requirements; 2) Works from guides which do not have direct applicability to the assigned area and is required to improvise of modify existing guides to obtain desired results; 3) Possess knowledge of related trades and the NAVAIRWORKFAC rework and manufacturing capabilities and practices; 4) Uses knowledge acquired in the aircraft electrician trade by mentally visualizing trade processes, tools, equipment, and techniques by applying practical knowledge of material and mechanical relationship of assigned items; 5) Ability to interpret blueprints specifications, technical bulletins, and directives, microfilm, etc.; 6) Ability to visualize operations and potential problems.
