You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH located in Annapolis, MD.

Duties

You will advise managers and staff on data collection criteria for analytical methods. You will analyze human resources management and organizational practices to determine the most effective and efficient way to organize human resources work. You will recommend the optimal mix of workforce (e.g., direct civilian, reimbursable civilian, military, contractor support services) to meet an organization's short or long-range workforce demand signals.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Serving as Staff Analyst on programs related to all aspects of personnel; 2) Formulating, planning and developing analyses of complex functions and work processes of administrative programs and other programs that require tracking and analysis of cost, schedule, and performance against standards and baselines; 3) Preparing and designing extensive data reports and charts to assist managers in making good business decisions ; 4) Preparing correspondence relating to manpower issues for leadership; and 5) Monitoring and tracking monthly government purchase card transactions, or similar or more complex financial transactions related to charges, payments, balances, and allocation of costs.
